Amid Outrage Over Kangana Ranaut’s PoK Remarks, CM Uddhav Thackeray Says ‘Some Don’t Have Gratitude For City’
Kangana Ranaut’s tweet questioning why Mumbai feels like Pakistan occupied Kashmir has left Netizens outraged. Amid all this, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray appears to have taken a jibe about those who do not have gratitude for the city
While hitting back at Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s remarks to Kangana Ranaut about not coming back to Mumbai if she felt scared of Mumbai Police, the actress made a tweet which left Netizens outraged. She wrote in her tweet, “Why is Mumbai feeling like Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir?" after which many Netizens bashed the actress for her remarks. Amid all this social media outrage, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray appears to have taken a jibe about those who do not have gratitude for the city.
While Uddhav Thackeray did not take any names, he said that some don’t have gratitude for the city where they live and earn their livelihood. While speaking in the legislative assembly after paying tribute to a former Shiv Sena MLA who died recently, Uddhav Thackeray was quoted saying by Times Now, “Some people have gratitude towards the city where they live and earn their livelihood, but some don't." He said, “Anil bhaiyya (Anil Rathod) came from Rajasthan and made Maharashtra his home. He was a hardcore Shiv Sainik."
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has been given Y-plus security cover by Union Home Ministry ahead of her Mumbai visit on 9th September. The actress thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah for honoring her words.
